Jekyll and Hyde
Fri, 26 Nov 2004, 09:26 pmJust auditioned successfully for Jekyll and Hyde's first production in South Australia (yay)
I know it's been done in other states though
If you were involved or saw it... I'm curious as to which songs were in it
I love some of the songs that were dropped from the Broadway version
(on the concept album)
afaik Bitch Bitch Bitch, Girls of the night, Bring on the Men and the original governor's thing weren't in the Broadway version
Whisper is our director has the rights to them so they may still be in
(getting the David H DVD soon ... pity it's the only version)
Also wondering whether lead male did J and H role justice... it looks tough..
Anthony Warlow sounds great though

Re: Jekyll and Hyde
Congratulations.
It's a great show and so much fun to do. I was in NSW first production, playing Sir Danvers with Rockdale Musical Society.
Bitch, Girls of the night were two of the big numbers I can recall off hand that were out. And I was sad to have my own song, Letting Go compressed down to about 10 lines.
Good luck with the show,
Have a ball.

Re: Jekyll and Hyde
Thanks Patrick
It sounds ike a fun show
Shame about 'Letting Go' as it's a song that builds and Sir danvers best moment
Girls of the Night is a great song too and BB Bitch would be heaps of fun
I admire anyone that plays the lead ... it must be hard work
