My first audition for a musical

Tomorrow i am having an audition for a school musical (Into the Woods). My drama teacher is the director, so I know him. The first cut, is a singing piece, so each person in a group of 5 must go up to perform while the others watch. Is there any tips that anyone can tell me to do while i am performing to keep in mind.
Should I be looking at the people judging me?
Since its a musical, should i be dancing and making actions?
Should I smile and look like im enjoying myself?, or be in character while im doing so?
