Are there any good musical co. on the Gold Coast HELP :-)

I'm moving to the Gold Coast (Surfers) in a couple of months time and was hoping to find a good musical society within the Gold Coast area.
I won't be able to travel to Brisbane due to studies so need to find a place that is on the Gold Coast or it's surrounding suburbs such as Surfers Paradise, Coolangatta, Broadbeach, Robina, Southport etc (something central). This will make it easier for me to travel to during rehearsals (especially when they are held at night).
I have checked out the companies section on this site but most of the societies are either at Brisbane or out of the Gold Coast area.
Any advice would be really appreciated.
As a lot of you would understand a performer who takes on full time study needs a creative outlet. Well I know I do and it's a good way to make friends with like minded people especially when your new in town.
I hope someone replies

Do a Search Site to see all posts on Gold Coast, someone recently mentioned the Gold Coast Theatre Alliance Inc which represents 17 theatre companies on the Gold Coast, QLD. On the Alliance web site details of all these companies, their productions, their auditions, and their contact details are available. Live Theatre on the Gold Coast has joined together to enhance all theatrical activities. The site also includes Community Events and Tuition available in the Arts.

We do one musical a year - Jesus Christ Superstar 2003, Fiddler on the Roof 2003, Pirates of Tweed Heads 2004
