Classical Voice Audition
Fri, 18 June 2004, 10:59 pmHi, Does anyone know whether there is audition for young classical voices? Recitals, Oratorios, anything that accepts the 20+ years old voice quality?

Voice Type: mid baritone
Stable Range: low F# to high F#(two octaves)
Age: 19
Solo Repertoire: Handel's Messiah (bass), Faure's Requiem (baritone),
Ismeron(Purcell's Indian Queen), Count's Aria (Le nozze
di Figaro), Song of Toreador (Carmen and arias from
many other operatic pieces, Lieders and artsongs.
Choral repertoire: Handel's Messiah(bass) and Mendelssohn's Elijah(bass)

sorry, but as you know, its not that i can sing them with operatic capacity. and plus i have developed that voice stage. My singing teacher is Andrew Foote and he is quite well known in both Operatic and Musical Society. He teaches many of the best voices.
