starting out

I am interested in any information people can offer in regards to good head shot photograhpers, casting consultants, agents, how to find out about professional auditions, particular companies, paying cabaret venues, paying gigs in general or any other information you would think to be useful to someone fresh out of a Performing Arts degree and looking to break into the professional industry. My main interest at the moment is in the area of music theatre, but I am also very interested in the Jazz scene.
I would love to hear any words of advice!
