"The Forgotten Steps"
Solomon Douglas from Canada has been invited to Perth by local dance club ‘Swing Junction’ to run a weekend of Lindy Hop & Swing workshops late May. Solomon will also run a ‘Blues Dancing’ workshop, a dance style from the 40’s. The weekend will end with Solomon and his jazz trio performing ‘live’ so you can put your new dance style in motion at a social event. Fantastic opportunity to learn from a master jazz player and dancer. If you are always dancin’ at the Blues Club, don’t miss this, you’ll love it. The workshops will be held at the Sun Room Community Arts Theatre in Maylands and the social dance venue will announced at a later date. For more details or to book your place on the dance floor

I dance with Swing Patrol in Melbourne and did MLX and other workshops with Solomon and I can not recomend a better blues teacher or a better guy in general. He was so smooth and INTELEGENT! He had so much knowledge about everything, not just dancing. My boyfriend ended up giving up on me during the last night of MLX at an after party bc I was dancing with Solomon to almost every song. He is also an amazing musican, so to all the muso/dancers out there get your bum to his calss because you will learn alot about music and musicality aswell as have an amazing dance class. I will never forget the first workshop finished at 11pm, it was ment to end at 9.45.... I was literally floating for 2 days afterwards, one of the most surreal and astonishing feelings ever and I have been dancing for 14 years.
Ok, I'll stop rambling now and leave the final message of
DOOOOOOOOOOOOO IT AND SWING HARD!!!!!!!!
