Sun, 4 Jan 2004, 05:04 pmHi there, fellow West Australian Sondheim fanatics! Have you heard? Not only are Garrick Theatre presenting "COMPANY" at their delightful little theatre, but Wanneroo Rep are planning a production of "A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC" in June. Check out the audition notices for February 8th Auditions at the Limelight Theatre.

Re: SONDHEIM
Yes, unfortunately, I couldn't find 6 willing men to play in an ensemble cast. They either wanted Bobby, or nothing else. (The women were fabulous though!) Ah well, maybe next year. But however, I am now in the process of directing the urban fairytale 'Beautiful Thing' which opens in the same season. It's not a musical, but promises to be an enchanting evening nonetheless. Limelight should be congratulated for being able to stage a musical of such scale - I know I am looking forward to it!
Thanks to everyone who did audition!
Jarrad.
