Singing Tuition in Perth?
Sat, 20 Dec 2003, 01:56 amHi all,
This is my first time posting here, so if I’m doing so in the wrong place, I apologise! I’ve been searching for singing tutors/schools in Perth (via the Yellow Pages, mostly), but really have no idea what I’m doing. Many ‘tutors’ appear to cater mostly for younger people, and I’m a bit intimated by the large musical theatre-type schools. I really only want someone who can help me strengthen/improve my voice. Can any fellow Perthites suggest a tutor that would be suitable for me? I’m a 23 year-old female, and have no real aspirations to sing professionally. I’m really aiming more to do some amateur musical theatre, if anything.
Cheers guys,
Alex

Re: Singing Tuition in Perth?
If you live in the hills area have a chat with Miriam Bottomley on 9454 6221. She is a singing teacher who sounds to be the sort of person you are looking for.
Good luck,
Diane.

Re: Singing Tuition in Perth?
also u could try ringing the academy, they can give you the names/numbers of a number of good music theatre singing teachers, the ones their students have to use.

Yeah if you want a mean haggard old witch for a music teacher!
I mean jesus who does her advertising? I'll bet you any thing Pettine wrote that last message to gain kudis for herself.
It's really pathetic!
