You know about the phenomenon. You've heard about the awards. You remember the heartbreak. But you might not know the whole story.
Before RENT, Jonathan Larson had another story to tell -- his own.
tick, tick...BOOM! is the musical tale of Jonathan's days as a struggling artist in SoHo. ItÂ’s 1990 and RENT is still six years away from its Broadway debut. He is on the verge of turning 30 - faced with life-altering choices and fighting to keep his dreams. His girlfriend wants to get married and move out of the city; his best friend is making big bucks on Madison Avenue; and he's still waiting tables and trying to write the great American rock musical. With fourteen songs, ten characters, three actors, and a rock band, tick, tick...BOOM! comes to life with comedy, song and heartfelt passion taking you on the playwright/composer's journey that led to the Broadway blockbuster, RENT.

hi, my name is james. i am trying to find auditions for RENT and i have no idea on how to start. i saw this online and thought this was the best way to find any info on it. so please, any information, a contact, a point in the right direction would be much appreciated.

I was just wondering if you were still holding adidtions for RENT. Although i am young i am very enthusiastic when it comes to dancing singing and acting. I have had training and still am in all areas. I love the stage and performing! Please email me back to let me know.

hey, I''ve heard as well that there are auditions for Rent coming up, and also have no idea how to find out details, so I would love any advice or info on these auditions or any auditions for other big musicals in Australia!!! thanx!

My 9 year old daughter is currently having singing lessons and her singing teacher is pushing for her to audition for musical theatre, at least in the chorus lines. I have no idea how or where to start with this. We live in Newcastle NSW. Please email me any information you can. Kind Regards Jenny.
