FAME THE MUSICAL - Male Dancers / Singers Wanted!!!

Hello all

We are currently holding auditions for our production of FAME THE MUSICAL to be staged at Bankstown Town Hall NSW in January / February 2004.

We are inviting any male dancers/singers/actors to come and audition for both lead and chorus roles this Sunday. There are numerous amounts of leads (two are non singing, aged 25 - 40 - the two teachers) as well as great opportunities for male dancers / singers in chorus.

Auditions will be held this Sunday 3rd August at our studio: Unit 5 / 66 Heathcote Rd Moorebank (right off the M5) The auditions are from 2:30 - 5:30pm and you will need to stay the full duration of the audition.

Auditionees are asked to prepare a song of their choosing (preferably musical theatre) accompanied by either a backing tape / CD or acapella. If you wish to audition for dance leads / dance chorus, please ensure you bring appropriate footwear and clothing to dance in.

Rehearsals are Tuesdays 7:30 - 10:30pm (not everyone will be needed) and Sundays 2 - 6pm at our studio. Our age limit is 13 years of age.

There is a $20 enrolment fee to be covered by our insurance and a $40 production fee involved. The $20 fee is a one - time only payment.

If you would like to audition or know of anyone that may want to audition, please pass this information along.

We would like as many men as possible (especially dancers that are trained in jazz) to balance out the number of women we will be putting in the show.
