Tickets for the stunning new production of TOMMY, to be presented at
Panthers World Of Entertainment in June, went on sale this week.

Out Of The Blue Performing Arts will present 12 spectacular shows during a
season that will captivate not only western Sydney, but theatre-goers across
New South Wales.

Rehearsals for the production began late last month, with the cast
immediately preparing for a media and industry preview to be held at
Panthers in April.

TOMMY director David Hollywood says that audiences will be left gasping for
breath after they see what Out Of The Blue does with this spectacular
Broadway show.

"Tommy is a visual and aural onslaught that has become every bit the amazing
journey Pete Townshend intended," Hollywood said.

"Tommy is powerful stuff that hits the stage running and leaves every other
attempt at rock musicals for dead.

"The impact of "Tommy" comes through sheer sensation created by one
startling event after another. The premise is ordinary enough - deaf, dumb
and blind kid grows up in London at the end of the fifties, becomes a local
legend, rejects fame and fortune. But what makes Tommy, the rock opera, so
incredible is the underlying vision of Townshend."

This production of TOMMY features a talented youthful cast, including Liam
Judson (Tommy), Rosemary Cooper (Mrs Walker), Aaron Davis (captain walker),
Troy Lennon (uncle Ernie), Jacqueline Binnion (The Gypsy), Rianna Gates
(Sally Simpson) and Tim Crew (Kevin).

Out Of The Blue Performing Arts has an incredible reputation within the
industry, and is not afraid to step away from the realms of reality, as
proved in previous hit productions.

"With our production of 'Les Miserables' we took a completely ruthless
approach, ignoring the dates and setting it fair and square in the late
twentieth century. Surprisingly the approach paid off. The scenes at the
barricade took on a new and potent relevance when considered alongside other
events being played out on the world stage today," David Hollywood said.

"With 'Life on mars' we were able to create a new music theatre piece from
scratch based on David Bowie's early music. With some projects you can get
an edge by re-interpretation. Others you have to build from scratch. TOMMY,
however, is practically perfect."
