I am a writer/composer, and have written a musical version of Frankenstein.

It has been kicking around for a few years and so far no one has been brave enought o produce it, despite some very positive feedback. It could be staged on a small scale, but ideally is a big show - like Les Miserable - with a large cast and orchestra.

I have a script and complete produced demo recording of all the songs. I even have a multimedia CD-ROM presentation of the show if anyone is interested.

Does anyone know of any professionl or even larger Musical Society groups who might be interested in producing this? You can find out more about Frankenstein and me at www.philmoore.com.au.

With a musical it is a good idea to probably try to downsize a cast or the amount of instruments - at a smaller scale, it gives your musical flexibility and can adapt to any theatre situation. You may be able to try to get a few high schools together to see if they are interested in trying out the musical - or possible make it a multi-school production..where more than one school can pull in resources for your musical. This way cast/orchestra members can be used from all the schools. Although this is far off from your regional theatre - but it still gives the musical a go!
