Greenwicks as an event
Hi Evvy
It might be useful for you to post this on the calender of events as well. That's where most people would look to check out what's on.
Go to the tabs up the top, the far right is "what's on" and in the drop down box click on "add event".
Regards
Julia
Hi Julia, I went to add it,
Company time...
OUTSTANDING!! LOOKOUT MGM - HERE COMES "M&M"!!
Those of you who were fortunate enough to witness the phenomenon of "Bullets Betty Vareska - The Directive of Six" may have a fair idea of the genius of "M&M Productions" and the wealth of pure talent that encompasses their musicals.
Following hot on the heels of the 2008 multi-Finley Award winning "Bullets Betty", "Greenwicks" is their third creation and is definitely their most brilliant work to date. (Just between us...The buzz in certain circles is that James Marzec and John McPherson are the West Australian answer to Rodgers and Hammerstein, perhaps even the next Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber! Interest in this "Dynamic Duo" has obviously been piqued on a professional level, with production company executives being spotted in the audience.)
This production has everything that the theatre populace of Perth has been begging for. It's new, it's locally written,it's vibrant, it is excellently Directed, skillfully Choreographed, brilliantly scripted, the vocalists are superb and you will not believe how many MALE dancers there are in the cast!
I met up with a few friends at the Dolphin last night who have performed both in Amateur and Professional musical theatre and I can honestly say that we were all absolutely blown away by the show.
Theatre goers of Perth, don't make the same mistake you did last year. Don't let the students be the only ones who get to see this amazing work.
Book now and book quick before those of us that are going back for seconds grab all the seats!
Did we see the same show
Abraham Lincoln - misquoted
"You can please some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time. But you can't please all of the people all of the time."
Instead of a broad spectrum put-down, how about explaining what it was you didn't like?
"M&M" are very good at taking genuine criticisms on board and dealing with the problem. I am sure they would like to hear your view.
"I'm a professional performer - Would you like fries with that?"
Probably not, if that's how
WOW
Saw it tonight and it was
Thankyou for a wonderful show
