Audition - Blood Brothers

Auditions will be held for Blood Brothers the musical on Monday 8 December and Wednesday 10 December from 7pm to 10pm and on Sunday 14 December from 10am to 6pm. Private auditions will be held at 10 minute intervals. All roles are available. An Orientation Night will be held on Tuesday 25 November at 7.30 p.m. at the rehearsal venue (Temple Emanuel, 28 Chatswood Ave, Chatswood). Please feel free to come and ask questions about the production and to obtain audition material. Audition material can also be arranged by emailing chapina@bigpond.net.au. Rehearsals will commence on Tuesday 27 January 2009 and run on Tuesday and Thursday nights until opening night at the Zenith Theatre Chatswood on Friday 22 May 2009 with closing night on Sunday 30 May (inclusive). This is an amateur theatre production so no actors will be paid, however, there is a strong production team of Chapin Ayres as director (she was in the original production of Blood Brothers in Sydney which starred Russell Crowe and Chrissy Amphlet) and Therese Doyle as Musical Director. We are looking for actors who can sing rather than singers who can act as the score is relatively simple but the script requires competent actors. If this is you, we would love to see you at the auditions and/or orientation night.
