Free shuttle transport for Perth-ites!!!!!!!
Sat, 26 Apr 2008, 02:21 amIf anyone is travelling down to Mandurah by train for the Aida auditions, please contact the director Carole Dhu caroledhu@hotmail.com as we are happy to provide a pick up service from the train station to the
audition venue, and back again.
This will also apply to anyone who is successful in getting a place in the show. We will be
happy to collect people from the train station on rehearsal nightsand return them there afterwards.

Brilliant idea!!!
Congratulations Carole... what a great idea!
An easy and simple way to get around the travel cost problem.
I hope this helps encourage more people to audition.
Hmm... maybe we should start trying to pressure Transperth to run an actual Cat in Mandurah or something!
Chookas for the auditions

Thanks Paul - altho' honesty
Thanks Paul - altho' honesty compels me to say the idea actually came from our Producer Mike!
We are hoping this encourages people to come take a look!
The arrival of the train has certainly made travel up to Perth an easier option for us 'Southerners' to view metro shows as well!
PS Sorry to hear you were robbed!

Free Cat in Mandurah
Hrmmm ok not very theatre-ish but thought I would let everyone know that there is actually a free cat bus in mandurah that travels (during the day only so wont help caroles rehearsals or audition or anything but anyways....)from the mandurah train station to the mandurah foreshore. Which is run by the Mandurah council.
Might be worth mentioning that it drops you off about a 2 min walk away from the Mandurah Perf Arts Centre. So if anyone ever wanted to watch any shows put on at MPAC either prof or amat you could always pop down for a matinee show.
Sorry for jumping you your bandwagon there Carole. xxx
