The second years at University of Ballarat has just started rehearsals for their 2nd yr show of 'Parade' by Jason Robert Brown. It is based on the true story of the murder of Mary Phagan and the lynching of Leo Frank in Atlanta, Georgia in 1913. It is very exciting as this show is not performed very often. Performances dates are 21-24 May. If you're a fan of Jason Robert Brown then you cannot miss out.

I came from WA to see this and it was a brilliant brilliant show. It was unbelievable that these students were only second years can wait to see what else they do. I cried on a number of occasions and saw the production more than once it was fantastic. Apparently there were talent agents attending the performance cos they heard it was an amazing show. Well done second years especially to have such interest at your second year level Let me say there is an excellent alternative to WAAPA. Ive seen both, they are different but every bit as good. The eastern states now have their own "WAAPA""
