Hey, does anyone know what Guys and Dolls is going to be like? A friend of mine wants to go, it is being produced by the MS Society and apparently they had a sell out season last year. Any insider information out there???

I hear they haven't started rehearsals yet.

But I do know a couple of the people on the inside and they are not usually involved with low grade productions. There is some concern over the extremely short rehearsal period that have been given, something like six weeks. but that should not be taken has having any bearing on the final product. Some amazing shows have been done in even half that.

Directors

It will be directed by John Milson (former WAAPA HOD for Music Theatre) and music by Tim Cunniffe (WAAPA lecturer). They also directed Les Mis at the Regal last year.

The rehearsal period is

The rehearsal period is about as long as we had for Les Mis last year. Everyone involved was extremely professional and organised and on opening night we were as ready as any production that had many months rehearsals. Knowing the team fom Les Mis I'm sure Guys and Dolls will be a fantastic production. Plus is for a very good cause in the MS Society.
