It was my first visit to Harbour Theatre,Fremantle on Saturday night - and a memorable one for all the right reasons. Minefields and Miniskirts is a quietly moving, at times toe tapping tribute to the Australian women involved in the Vietnam war and its legacy. The ensemble cast of four women and musical accompanist on guitar each take turn in a recollection of their involvement interspersed with well-known songs from the era. What a superb job they do. I sat engrossed throughout the play which is staged without intermission. The technical aspects were spot on with all lighting cues and sound effects timed to perfection. Congratulations to cast, crew and director Peter Kirkwood. This production is highly professional and thoroughly recommended. Richard
