Hey Folks (DISCLAIMER: I permformord in this show, hardly an impartial influence) I was the guitarist in this show. The band did this show after the prior MD pulled out, for reasons out of their control. We were asked to do the show by a Musican that I (and I assume the rest of the band) have an enourmous amount of respect for. I see Music as a weapon of peace. For one slight moment, all the time, all the tears, and all the passion we have put into learning how to play, how to perform, hits our audience in the form of sound. I hope every performance can incite suprise, lust, anger, tears, and happyness into the audience we play to. If there is any chance of peace in the world, music would be it. With it for a moment, even just one second, we can entice people to see what we see, feel what we feel. Once you have stood in your enemys shoes, it is hard to shoot at him. This show did not deliver. Please try to understand that I am not here to put up my name defending a show which I belive should not have gone one at the time that it did. THAT SAID The show WAS put on under extranious circumstances. Lets cut the crap, the venue was a shocker(no aircon, no cuirculation, no chance!), some of the performers really, really, couldn't sing, and lack of professional audio/visiul technician compromised the gig(apologies to the tech, I for one understand they were brought in on short notice, and are not pros. You did an amazing job considering the experience and time you had). This show, poor script or otherwise, was bitten and infected by the amateur bug. Tim, for any of his shortcomings, was a pleasure to work with. Bullshit aside, he did what he did with what he had. I thank people for their genuine feedback. Its one of the few ways in our beatiful city of Perth that amatuer theatre and musicals can continue to grow. The rest of you, shame. Shame on you all. Amelia has asked for a review, not a subscription to "Shit-slinging weekly". Peace Vlad
