The following is the call to action forwarded to members of the MEAA. It contains suggestions for who and how to go about approaching people in order to achieve a more satisfactory outcome for Effie Crump and perhaps our professional industry in general.I've already written one letter. How about you? :)**Dear Allplease find attached [see previous posts] copy of a letter written to Foss last week and a press release going out tomorrow 31st (am).To our journalist members: I have provided this by way of info. If you can do something with it great. To all Equity members:Letters have already begun flying all over the place from your colleagues regarding Foss's outrageous comments made in Saturday's West.I am being interviewed tomorrow afternoon by the West for a reply article. It is now time to act. Time for you to do something. We must not passively accept Foss's statements as those of a looney Arts Minister who doesn't understand us.We must show that he has to go. Use my letter for information only, do not copy directly. Individually written letters have a stronger impact than copied off letters. We will publish all letters written in the next issue of the Equity Bulletin. Please, do something. Write to him direct at:Hon. Peter G. Foss QC MLC12th Floor Dumas House2 Havelock StreetWEST PERTH WA 6005Fax: 9322 5149Copy all of your letters to:Richard Court, The PremierHampden RoadNEDLANDS 6009Fax: 9386 5817and your local member. Also to Hon.
