Forging a career in the acting world is by no means an easy path. I think the most important thing is to net let yourself be deluded by the romantic idea that just because you're talented means that you are going to make it. Many people who deserve to make it never do and many who don't will. On the other hand however many talented actors do make it.
My advise to you is that there is no teacher like experience, do as many productions as possible and gain experience. At your age you still have a long way to go so it is easy for you to become disillusioned when you fail. Many people give up because of this.
Also look beyond your acting school for experience audition for some of the really good youth theatre companies around where you will get to work with professionals. Western Australia Youth Theatre company and BSX be active theatre are two such companies which come to mind.
I guess in short my advice is, don't think that a career in acting is just going to magically fall into your lap, because it won't. Work hard and remain passionate about what you want.
Best of luck
