Hi all Recently I posted details of a Perth Feature Film: Kittens Of Woodlake I advised that I have only worked in theatre, and not done a film before, though I have done a bit of extra work here and there. To answer any queries, we have graduates working the technical side, which completes a full crew. In saying this, we have cast our Leads & Supporting Roles, and now am calling on EXTRAS KITTENS Of WOODLAKE is set in Perth Australia in the 1960’s – and tells the story of the girls who work as Cabaret Dancers at a local Jazz Club. It is about the girls finding their own freedom & independence, finding love & friendship, and coping with loss and hardship. Dates of filming will be from February the 21st to March the 1st 2010, so you will need to be available during those dates. One scene will be shot at 11.00pm to 1.00am on Thursday the 26th of February - (Shoot for that is at Alfreds Kitchen in Guilford) The remaining is a full day Saturday, half a day Sunday (Morning) and after 5.00pm during the weekdays. (We require extras on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Majority of the locations are done in Guilford, the Swan Valley, and Midland. School Uniforms, Nurses Uniforms and the Cabaret costumes are provided, however, you will need to come dressed in your own clothes – no labels, and late 50’s, early 60’s inspired. Unfortunately, being a low budget and a first time film - no one will receive payment. There will however be catering supplied on locations. We are requesting people of all ages to the fill the roles of: School Choir Students (All girl school) Plenty of Gentlemen to be in the pub watching the cabaret show Protestors General Background Public Hospital Patients and more! If you are interested, please email me at: kittensofwoodlake@live.com I will email you back with further details. Kind Regards Lynnette
