Romeo and Juliet at the Old Mill Theatre - Perth. Experienced Romeo and Juliet last night (Thursday 19th). Sat under the stars with a picnic, a bottle of red and fab company ( my wife ) The night was quite chilly but the show soon warmed us up. From the opening line to close the actors kept us totally entertained. I have seen Shakespeare many times over in OZ and the UK and this production is as good as I have seen. I dont like to single out actors for performance when the whole cast brought it together sooo well. You all did a great job! and if anyone is unsure about going to this production. Dont be unsure. Go and support these guys they certainly have put the rehearsal time in. Well done guys it was a pleasure to be in the audience. * Jeff love your Mercutio

Relic of the dark ages

I am too a a relic of the dark ages. Very traditional. Thankyou and appreciation from both sides of the fence is something that I have been brought up with. And the proof to me is that it still is around. I thanked a director on a commercial at the end of the days filming last September. I had never met this person before and I was booked through an ad agency. Yesterday I did a commercial booked through my agent without an audition which I thought was strange because I did not recognise the film company or the ad agency. I arrived at the job and It was the same director who was freelance who requested to the ad agency they book me. It was not talent or a certain look that got me the job. It was simple good manners that he remembered me. This is something not taught at drama school. They teach procedure and percistance and many other things that help. Good manners got me so much work in London and yesterday it got me work again. Good manners cost nothing and it good to here yours Jeff. Believe me in our industry good manners stand out even when people really dont deserve them. But I stand by them and when your hitting a low point in the business something happens and bang ! your back again. Good manners kept me working over the years. Thanks Jeff, We need to set up " Ye Olde Relics Theatre Company "
