(off David Road) 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm (Dress Rehearsal in hall 3rd November) “It’s show time” (singing, dancing and acting from Broadway and musicals) SongBirds are community performers in the Sydney Metro area who perform in Nursing Homes, Retirement Villages and Hostels and for the house bound folk we perform in halls. These folk are transported by Community Transport bus to see the show. Our website address is http://www.thesongbirds.com.au We entertain the older folk in our community and put a smile on their faces while we take them on a trip down Memory Lane dressed in period costume singing, dancing and acting to the music from 1900's to 1970's. We perform on the last Saturday of each month from 1.30pm to 3.00pm, dates and times may vary. Your availabilities will be recorded to enable us to plan ahead for each show. Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings between 8:00pm and 10:00pm. Barton Hall (next to Hopetoun Village office) Anglican Retirement Village Gough Drive (enter from David Road) Castle Hill. Singing coaching is also available on Thursday evenings prior to rehearsal at 42 Francis Street Castle Hill starting at 7.00pm for those who wish to attend.
