Casting is almost complete but we are still seeking a suitable actor for the lead role of Buddy Holly. You should be mid 20's or early 30's, good acting ability, be able to sing like Buddy and preferably be a reasonable electric guitarist. This is the role of a lifetime for the right person as Buddy sings 14 songs and is on stage virtually the entire show. Auditions scheduled for Wed July 5th. Interested in the role
Hi my name is Scott Cameron, I played the role of Buddy Holly in the Gold Coast / Brisbane Production in 2005 And have been cast in the forthcoming 2008 production with the original london director / Producer Robert Bettinson.
I am 20 yrs old and look and sound like Buddy Holly - see www.buddyhollyshow.com for more info.
Since the musical I have been playing Buddy Holly in the stage Production Memories Of Buddy Holly, Which has been on a National Tour of Australia & New Zealand and even visited Clovis new mexico in Sept last year last Year, I am an Electric Lead Guitarist who plays all of Buddy's Songs and have played and Toured with Glenn Shorrock from the Little River Band, Tommy and Phil Emmanuel, Brian Cadd, Jade Hurley and the late Maark hunter with Dragon.

Just want to say, I saw
Just want to say, I saw Scott in Buddy. He is amazing. You want him. Honestly. He is the closest thing to real Buddy Holly you can get. Hope the production goes well!
