Racy and Juicy
Tue, 16 Jan 2001, 09:46 pmSex sells or so a few companies would appear to be hoping.
Kalamunda Dramatic Society promotes its upcoming production of Starting Stalls as raunchy. The same term used by director David Meadows to describe the Graduate Dramatic Society's production of Romeo and Juliet - or perhaps it will be retitled Racy and Juicy?
Check out the poster for Romeo and Juliet here:
Cheers

"The Starting Stalls" is promoted as raunchy because it IS, I'm not so sure about Romeo & Juliet.
By the way "The Starting Stalls" is on at the Garrick Theare from Feb 2 (Not KADS)
Cheers

Keziah Gillam (Juliet) is 21, and I have known her for every one of those years. This is a side of her I have never seen though...

Kaziah (Juliet) is 21 - she just looks very young as per the script requirements.

PS David - it's meant to be /raunchy/?!? That's news to me and I'm the one beating the crap out of all the fellas in the play. Looks like I'll have to find a whip and a dominatrix uniform for my costume...all in the Capulet colours, of course!

I think you've just solved our costuming dilemma. I wonder if Barbarella's will do us a deal?
It would certainly make all the dick jokes stand out.
*snigger*
"Stand out". hehehe.

If Barbarella's don't come good (shut up Meadows) you could talk sweetly to Jarrod Buttery. His collection covers all fetishes. Ask him to model some of it and you're sure to get him onside.

Hi Amanda,
Geez, no sooner does this appear on the website, than you're ringing my home number. I like a girl with spirit! Organising a time is not a problem, just don't tell Dean Schulze when or where. I don't want a repeat of that previous... unfortunate... incident.
