Just an utterly un-theatre-related notice to inform anyone that may care to know, Sharon and I will be arriving back in Perth this weekend.

PS. *sigh* does anyone know why the newly launched ArtsCentral (Theatre Arts WA) lists so few local productions and doesn't include a link to the ITA site? I spoke with the staff at Theatre Arts WA personally before i left and encouraged them to help themselves to information from the ITA site. Ah well, their loss.

we've got LOTS for you to do - now doesn't that make you feel welcome??????????????
Answer to question - No , have no idea WHY community theatre still doesn't get much of a mention, maybe "they" are jealous of our audience numbers and don't want to discourage theatre goers from attending 'professional' stuff?
There were at least 6 openings last week and for all the main-stream papers cared they almost might not have existed.
That is apart from one fortunate theatre who managed to score a whole half page the day before opening night.
