BONDAGE

Locations Urgently Required in Melbourne

The following locations are urgently required for the drama shoot of ‘Bondage’

Please think about places you know or visit and if they may be suitable for our needs. The apartment entrance hall for example may be your own place or a friendÂ’s place. Ditto for the apartment landing. We are prepared to pay reasonable amounts for use of locations.

1. Apartment Entrance Hallway.

A modern apartment entrance hallway with walls of smooth white, blue, or pale green texture. Other pale colours may also be suitable. Needs to be empty of furniture. Required for short periods only (i.e. four hours or less). Minimal lighting will be used. Will involve very little disruption to owner or renterÂ’s life/schedule.

2. Apartment Landing with access to neighboring apartment door.

The first, second or other floor landing of a modern apartment building or similar. We need access to the doors of two apartments either facing or adjacent to each other. Actors do not need to go anywhere else but just inside doors of these apartments. Required for very short periods only (ie. two hours or less). Natural or minimal lighting will be used. Very little disruption to owners or rentersÂ’ lives/schedules.

3. A white or pale blue or pale green staircase in a modern apartment block. From First Floor to Ground floor and the ground floor area.

This is to film the first short encounter between Peta and Layla.

4. Long hospital-like corridor.

A long empty corridor with white, off-white, pale blue or pale green walls like that found in hospitals. Preferably a corridor NOT used by members of the public. Can be a service corridor or similar. Required for one scene only (four hours or less). This will be a tracking shot so the corridor needs to be empty at time of use. Natural light or minimal lighting will be used.

5. A large, unfurnished or semi-furnished modern office or storage room with either no windows or normal sized windows which can be covered over.

This is to film the interrogation scene between Sgt Detective Jacks and Layla. It is meant to be in a hospital so the walls need to be white, cream, pale blue or pale green. This may be a storage room which can be temporarily emptied, or a meeting room. It will be required for two whole weekends to complete the scene. We can bring our own table and chairs in. Artificial lighting and blue screen will be used in this room.

6. A Medical Clinic Reception Area.

This can also be a community health centre. The only part we need to use is the reception area. No disturbance will be made to any items. We simply need to put two actors behind the reception counter and one actor in front of it. Natural or minimal lighting will be used. The camera will be placed alternatively on both sides of the reception counter. The best time for us to use such a space would be a day when the centre is closed for business.
