Lead role in Movie auditions

Sorry Claude, but if I was a parent, I would be extremely concerned about letting my daughter send you a pic of themselves for your film.

I completely understand your enthusiasm Claude, but if you are serious about making this film...you really should be going through the agents to get your people.

Unfortunately we now live in a society where everybody must be cautious about things and to me, someone requesting pics of 13-17 girls on the internet for a 'film' on an unmoderated forum such as this site can cause a sense of uneasiness.

I hope this message doesn't fall on deaf ears but I'm afraid that with the current layout of this website, this posting won't reach everyone - it'll just disappear into the digital ether.

If this forum isn't going to be moderated, then we, as the users of this forum need to keep a constant vigil on the people who post on this website.

Yes Claude, "Crispian" is right. I know alot of young girls who would love to audition, but it does sound a bit dodgey.

I was just saying the same thing to a friend of mine on the telephone - could you at least provide us with a little more information, Claude, so we can see if this is kosher or not?

Nothing against you personally of course it's just that in my short time here i've seen a lot of teenagers who'd crawl over broken glass to get their 'big break' and at least one other person advertising a slightly suspect sounding motion picture/major feature film.

Looking forward to hearing about it nonetheless, as i'm rather a fan of vampire flicks -

Yes that was me and the auditions have passed. In regards to your concerns I fully understand. I am just a guy trying to sudition a role in a movie. If you guys all want to be really suspicious that's fine by me, you know? As for the question of plot details. It is a movie based around the physchological trauma and struggle based around being a creature of the night and being isolated from people he knew.
I am relucant to expose more because of copyright and the like.

Well, we've established that this audition notice was a dodgy hoax (which should have been obvious from the conversation with D Thomas at the top of this thread); but it looks like none of us need to worry about young actresses sending their details to him. They still respond by asking directors to email THEM!

I have for some time been trying to find a good audion to get in to. I have done some acting but never in the movies. I have been in several plays and had lead roles.
