Abductions - Artrage Theatre Season

The Abductions season opened last night to a packed, very into it house with The Task (heavy dramatic piece about war and stuff)/Patty Pied/Loving The Alien (the big Hoo-Haa's Xavier getting jiggy with extra-terrestrials). Tonight (friday 4) is sold out already (as is the final show, with other ones filling up, like, superquick) and features Afterwards We'll Go Away (a superfunny piece of theatre) / Patty Pied (spoken word vs theatre vs video vs all kindsa crazy stuff that'll mess with your head) / Difficult Second Novel (a complex (for the performers, anyway) bit of comic theatre vs extended impro game which co-stars and was written by yours truly which will generate a different novel from a different set of circumstances every night).

Tickets for the season are such ridiculously good value it's almost stupid. You can get in for $20/$15, which gets you two nights of brilliant theatre (there is no show in this program that sucks, imho, which is pretty astounding). You can probably still get tickets to Feb 5/10/11/12/17/18, but as I said before, book 'em now :)
