Seeking three actors (experience preferred) for a 10 minute independent short film “Ointment”, to be shot in February by crew consisting of experienced film students, past and present. The film features no extras; therefore all actors require very strong, dedicated performances. The Film will provide good exposure, and although actors will be unpaid, we will cover for travel expenses and catering.
Synopsis:
Set in a single high-rise apartment complex at a timeless hour of the morning, Ointment begins with young man Charles being woken by a desperate phone call from a female friend who lives three floors below him and who claims she has lost her shadow. Together, they visit Old Man, who resides on the top floor and sells an assortment of medicinal oddities from his apartment. They leave with a bottle of ointment. Side effects follow.
Roles:
Charles – Male, mid 20’s. Young man in desperate need of sleep.
Woman – Female, mid 20’s. Slightly irrational. Loses her shadow.
Old Man – Male, 60+. Sells homemade medicine from his apartment. Wise-looking with ambiguous motives.

19 years old. Have experiance (drama school and I am also currently in a theatre production) and willing to audition for the male role. Am i too late??
