Stanislavsky Method Acting Workshops

Just to let you know that Natela Dzuliashvili (NIDA guest acting tutor) is conducting Stanislavsky Method Acting Workshops.
Suitable for experienced actors and those just starting out on their career.
This intensive six week course is designed to give participants a practical introduction to Stanislavsky Method Acting and the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique.
Small classes (maximum 14) allow a great deal of time to be spent with each student so as to guide them to their potential. The Workshop is recommended for goal orientated actors who want one on one personal direction.
Step One: FROM THE MEANING TO THE WORD
Introduction to Terminology,
Combining the elements of the Stanislasky System,
Improvisation,
Working with a partner,
Mastering the subtext,
Building a character,
Psychological Gesture,
Sensations and Feelings,
Recreating a Performance.
Saturday afternoon classes commencing: October 26.
Hours: 4 p.m.- 7 p.m.
Weekday evening classes commencing: October 29.
Hours: 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Cost: $ 195 (GST incl)
Location: Newtown and Turrella.
