advice needed

Hi everyone,
i am a 13 year old girl in victoria/melbourne. I am very interested in joining a theatre company or auditioning for a amateur play. I would really apreciate any advice! Any companies who could give me any information i would be very greatful.

in melbourne you should definitely check out St Martins Youth Arts Centre in South Yarra (if you live near the city or are willing to travel) as they do first class courses and at reasonable prices. They have a good reputation in the industry and they also offer scholarships (based upon audition)! If you're looking for something local start looking at the links through pages (such as this one) or go to the victorian drama league website at www.vicnet.net.au/~vicdrama they are really helpful.

I'd also give Troy Dodds Enterprises an email or a call. They specialise in unestablished or near-established entertainment industry folk and I think you will find they offer advice for free.
