hello!

I'm the content coordinator of vibewire.net a new non-profit website produced entirely by young people for young people. We have recently launched theatrewire, a section dedicated to live theatre, performance and more. Adding to VibewireÂ’s already impressive line up of sections- music, arts, politics and more- theatrewire will include weekly reviews, features, regular interviews with new and established directors and actors, plus the latest in whatÂ’s on in the world of live theatre and performance

We are now on the look out people passionate about live performance, to be reviewers, feature writers and interviewers and contribute to the section on a regular basis. It is a great way for students and young people to get their work published and see some free theatre at the same time! It's a fantastic opportunity to get more young people going to theatre and showing them what they've been missing!

If you would like to be a reporter/writer for the theatre section, please contact Marianne Webb on 0407 368 721 or content@vibewire.intranets.com

Re: new youth website needs passiate theatre writers

Hi Marianne,

Just to stop any misunderstandings (because this site gets riddled with 'em- check the ongoing "Audition" debate in Musicals & Opera!!) , is "vibewire" based in WA, NSW, Victoria, Nantucket, Uzbekhistan, Mars or elsewhere?

Thanks,

El- who is faintly intrigued at the prospect of doing reviews...

Hi El

At the risk of confusing you more, vibewire is based in al lof the above, well almost...ie we are a virtual organisation; a national website with writers and editors spread throughout the country. The theatre section has concentrating on sydney, though I would very much like it to have reviews, articles, features on companies in every major (or minor) city....I hope this helps...and would love to have you on board...give me a call/email if you're still interested!
