Please note that the title of this position has changed from "Acting" to "Directing"
WAAPA@ECU is Western Australia's most prolific performing arts provider and leads the field nationally in a number of significant areas. We are
seeking to appoint an experienced Lecturer within the Musical Theatre Department of the School.
The successful applicant will be responsible for directing productions in the Musical Theatre Department, directing productions by arrangement in the
Theatre Department and teaching in course subjects such as Dramatic Literature, Script Analysis, History of Musical Theatre, Acting and
Improvisation and will assist in coordinating the Musical Theatre programme and such other duties as required.
Formal academic qualifications in appropriate areas or equivalent propfessional experience together with Directing experience in Musical Theatre are
essential criteria.
This position attracts remuneration of $56,386 to $66,960 including SSAU Employer superannuation, with a salary component of $48,193 to $57,231
pa.
