AUDITIONS for Duck Bunny Theatre new comedy in Canberra

AUDITIONS for Duck Bunny Theatre “The Fridge” opening at The Street Theatre in October. Sunday 21 July. Ralph Wilson Theatre, Gorman House Arts Centre, Batman St, Braddon. 12pm – 4pm in two groups You can choose one of two start times 12 – 2pm or 2 – 4pm HOW WILL AUDITIONS RUN? Groups of people will be auditioned in two 90 minute sessions. Each person will be required to individually perform a short (2 minute) monologue to the production team and in front of the other auditionees. In the second part of the audition actors will be asked to read extracts from the script together as well as performing exercises to see how you take direction. Because of the ensemble nature of the company you will be required for the whole 90 minute session. REHEARSAL TIMES Rehearsals will be held in the PASH performing arts space. Suite 301, 20 Allara St, Civic. Rehearsals will start Saturday 3 August 1.00pm – 5.00pm. Then regularly Tuesdays 7.00pm – 10.00pm from Aug 6, Thursdays 7.00pm – 10.00pm, and Saturdays 1.00pm – 5.00pm Once the play is cast you will be given a revised schedule which will have times when not all actors are called.
