Legitimate Websites
Mon, 31 Jan 2011, 09:41 amHi, I've just left school and I'm looking for experience in acting to further my career.
I was doing some research into where I could find work, agents and help for new actors, and I came across these two websites, StarNow and QuietOnSet. They look like they could be helpful as the former lists auditions for free and the latter has beginner actor tutorials as well as auditions. However, QuietOnSet requires a fee for use and StarNow seems a bit too good to be true. I was just wondering if anyone here knows if these websites are legitimate and helpful.
Thanks,
Jackson

Searching through their Resource Section, you should find a list of agents in your state. While they have a disclaimer that being on the list is not an indication of legitimacy, they usually do not list those they have had serious complaints or concerns about.
