Disney's High School Musical - Coming to Ipswich

Disney’s High School Musical is coming to town, and we want you! The Ipswich Musical Theatre Company (under the musical direction of Nathan Pamenter) are holding auditions for guys and girls aged between 12 and 23. If you are older, but look like a teenager, we want you as well! We will be filling all roles at these auditions! Hi everyone, I'm currently in the middle of rehearsals for High School Musical with my school. (It's my last show at the school and I must say it's actually a pretty good show!) We're performing at George Jenkins in April, 26, 27 and 28 are the dates. I know PLOS has plans for the show not this year but early next year. I'm assistant director of the show as well as playing Ryan if that is of any interest to anyone. Thanks very much, it is a fun role. (Slightly downsized from movie to script though, but with some great subtext) Taylor's role is much larger (as is Chad) and is a really good role too. I'd recommend going for the show...It's clearly a phenomina (and certain people will then say don't) but if you've got a chance to be part of it...GO FOR IT! Pressed the wrong button, sorry. However, while I'm here I might as well shoot my mouth off. Haven't seen the stage show, I've heard an unsubstantiated rumour that the planned Adelaide Production isn't happening. I have seen the movie and think it's great despite my advanced years. Have fun with it guys and revel in a real opportunity for the younger folks in our bizarre community to take the genuine lead in a good show. Is that all there is?
