January Weekend Workshops – Deadline Extended!!
There are still a limited number of spaces available in some of our
workshops to be held the weekend in a variety of areas on Saturday
21 January and Sunday 22 January 2006 to provide students with a
brief overview of what they can expect during a 10 week workshop.
Saturday:
Acting for Film TV and Theatre - 10:00am - 11:30am
Acting for Camera - 12:30pm - 1:30pm
Improvisation & Audition Techniques - 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Drama for Youth (Acting & Improvisation Exercises) : (Ages 13-16 yrs
and 16-19 yrs) - 3:30pm - 4:30pm
TV Presentation - 4:30pm - 5:30pm
Sunday:
Acting for Film TV and Theatre - 10:00am - 11:30am
Performance Art - 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Voice - 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Singing - 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Drama for Youth (Acting & Improvisation Exercises) : (Ages 13-16 yrs
and 16-19 yrs) - 3:00pm - 4:00pm
Musical Theatre - 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Overview of Video Production from Scripting to final DVD. Produce a
Short Film - 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Additional workshops will be held at St Marys Church, 163 Howard
Street (Near Cnr of Queensbury St North Melb) on Saturday 22 January
from 11am.
These additional workshops will consist of a variety of Dance and
Movement as well as Mime & Physical Theatre.
The timetable for this separate venue is as follows: Saturday:
Walk like an Egyptian - Dance - 11:00am - 12:00pm
Mime & Physical Theatre - 12:15pm - 1:15pm
"BUSS IT UP" Dancehall/Reggae Class - 1:30pm - 2:30pm
Youth Program (Body and Voice Techniques for Character Development) :
V.C.E. or young adults between 16yrs-21yrs - 2:45pm - 3:45pm
Seminars and workshops will be conducted by industry professionals.
Fees:
Individual workshops - $20.00 per hour;
$15 per class when enrolling in multiple classes or full day
registration.
Payment must be made at least one week prior to commencement date.
Workshop Cancellation and/or Postponement: Low enrolment courses may
be cancelled or postponed. You will be notified of this 48 hours
prior to course commencement.
Enrolment Deadline: 5pm, January 18, 2006
