Good that you're not embarrassed about your writing - but I wouldn't go around calling yourself confident about it either. You make me cry on cue too.

, i bet that when you where in year 6 you would write like that too!
Its brave fot you to be writting to this site when you don't really know whos on the site!
By advice is too you Brielle is to start at a drama class ,
there is probably an drama school in your local community!
Nearly everyone who goes to a local drama school is nice and very helpful. So i would start there!

Hey, I'm sorry Brielle, I didn't take notice that you are only 11. I think I assumed you were Year 11 which is more like age 16. However I know for a fact that when I was 11 I could spell.

Rebecca, I'm assuming you're a fair bit older...so I'm not sure why your spelling is so bad? Never mind, you're right, you're being helpful so you're excused. I'm being bad so I guess I'm not a true actor.

Interesting to read your note on tiretracks. Perhaps the best way to get into acting is by writing to ALW himself in London - then you could enter shows put on at your school or by the community you live in.

Interesting sentence. I can't help taking the piss when the sentence is wrong like that. Makes me feel like even if I'm acting badly, in a way I'm still right.

So you've got a few years of education to improve your sentences, like the one that follows next:

Firstly, stop arguing over stupid things. Secondly, to all the actresses, I think the first thing you should know is that an extremely successful way of getting work is to go out and FIND IT, rather than waiting for people to come to you after you've posted some personla details and an email address. (here's a hint: this page has a bunch of auditions listed. try there.)
Secondly, true actors do put people down. It doesnt make them any less of an actor but it does make them an @!#$.
Hurray. Another lesson well learned.

i have always wanted to act in eastenders i am 14 years old and i do a lot of drama it would be the best thing that ever happened to me!!!!!!!!!! so if eastenders is looking for anyone there talking to a pro.

eastenders is my life and hopefully i will be acting on the soap one day

Eastenders is made in the UK...

And if Eastenders is your life, you don't have much to look forward to - she's a BIG world out there with a whole lot more going on than some obscure soapy that has been going for who knows how long in the UK.

I guess it could be like me suggesting that I wanted to be on Days of Our Lives or Neighbours and such like "all my life", which I haven't by the way just in case anyone was getting worried.

I wouldn't be limiting myself to one particular show or even style of acting if I were wanting to "get into the industry".

eastenders isnt obsucre. its extremely well known and liked.

So you have wanted to be in "Eastenders" all your life.? And you are 14 years old? So that would mean that you have been watching Eastenders all your life and that you consider that at 14, you have lived enough of your life to know what it is you want to do ?

Congratulations. You must be a very smart young lady. At 14, you know what you want to do and you have spent most of your life in front of a television watching other people pretend for a living. Obviously an excellent life choice there.


I am not sure where Danielle is from , but it's interesting. I had no idea that "Eastenders" was now aiming for the pre primary and primary school markets. Watch out guys, if we are not careful, this will spawn a huge new market

"Baby Eastenders"

"The Eastenders meets the Wiggles"

"Play School Eastenders"

and the list goes on.

Danielle, all I can hope is that the casting director of Eastenders happens to be a frequent visitor to this site, recognises your obvious talent at such a young age ( and of course by watching Eastenders ALL your life, you would have had a huge time to refine your acting abilities and you would have had countless opportunities to be in plays and to learn your craft by the age of 14), and gives you the opportunity of your lifetime.

Whereas those actors you aspire to be like have spent THEIR lives acquiring skills, studying their craft, going to auditions, pursuing interesting activities, meeting people, improving their body, mind and voice....and probably spend VERY LITTLE time, if any, watching soaps like Eastenders....

That's a clue.
