Look out everbody. . .
Thu, 23 Oct 2003, 01:31 amIt's Richard the Great!!!!!!
The Murdoch University Perfoming Group is proud to present. . .
Richard III - A Bollywood Musical
directed by Serge Tampalini
I promise you've never seen Richard done quite like this before. It's Shakespeare – with a little help from his friends in Bollywood.
In an age where chorus lines of politicians take to the worldÂ’s political stages and openly sing and dance their way through choreographed numbers, Richard III as a study of evil is still as relevant today as it was over 400 years ago. A study of power and corruption, Richard III speaks directly to the audience cautiously reminding them of the threat of globalisation and the possibility of a world ruled by a single government and one man.
This production of Richard III will appeal not only to students of Shakespeare but to all those who enjoy Bollywood films. Through dizzying dance numbers and original music by Murdoch student Nick Choo, the audiences will laugh, love and die with the protagonists of RichardÂ’s world.

Re: Look out everbody. . .
Just a quick note to let everyone know the Friday the 7th matinee has been cancelled. So now you have even less time to see this all singing, all dancing extravaganza.
