Maylands Hall Update

Progress towards having a Community Performing Arts Center within the Maylands Hall is coming together with an action group being formed and a draft proposal compiled. The group comprises of 12 individuals representing a variety of theatre groups and other performing arts companies who have previously expressed interest in the hall. By forming this group we endeavor to display that our application is truly community based and a shared joint Performing Arts request. The application period has been extended in as much as the one month public comment has not yet opened, and that a flier will be sent to all previous applicants informing them of the timeline and guidelines. This extension of time allows us to promote the hall for performing arts and increase awareness within the community.
