Expat in Perth - new here!
Wed, 14 Nov 2012, 11:03 pmI will be leaving my home country (South Africa) for my alter-ego to do "real" work in Perth for 8 months. I am very sad to leave my music teacher and my choir behind and can't bear the thought of not singing for 24 hours.
I was searching google trying to find a reputable teacher and communities in Perth, and a blog directed me to theatre.asn.au.
I am looking for singing/vocal teacher who is diverse and can help me mingle for the time I am in Perth. I realise that most good teachers have very looong waiting lists, however, I am a very good student, I pay on time, I practise every chance I can get, I do what my teacher says, and I enjoy a challenge. He/she will not be dissapointed.
I can sight read perfectly well. I can dance well, I model for fun. I am however a very novice actor, and could definately use some help there. Wouldn't mind some teaching in those areas either.
Basically I am looking for some guidance on how to use the 8 months in Perth best I can to get some experience and have a chance to work with great poeple.
Many Thanks
Jane Scott
