Fairy Dust
Sun, 28 Oct 2012, 09:56 amFAIRY DUST...is just about all that will be left at the Midland Junction Art Centre after this evenings closing performance of 'Fairytale of sorts.' The long weeks of prep, and as usual, the shows go by in a flash. Despite logic proclaiming the fairytale show would never work, our fairytale bunch have turned logic on it's head, and proved that ANYTHIING COULD HAPPEN...audience reaction has been the best I can remember for an A lad in sane production....where to from here? Some ask if there'll be a 'Fairytale of sorts 2'...hmm... 'ALIS in Wonderland', now there's an idea. Once again, thanks to those of you who who've offered support by way of attendance, kind words, or by helping out FOH. I'm indebted to you all....the close of tonight's show, will bring for me, it's usual mix of joy and sadness, joy for the memorable experience our odd little Fairytale has given our cast and crew, and sadness because it doth end...the transient life of theatre...and so we look forward to another tale, somewhere far far away...I'm somewhat pleased my heart had me BELIEVE in fairytales...'That'll do Donkey! That'll do!
best wishes
the other brother Grim.
