THREE ACTORS REQD FOR SHORT FILM

You can catch Lenny at the skate park most days. Life hasn't been kind to Lenny and the skate park is his one place of solace. Life has a way of sneaking up on you though... 'SLATE' is a gritty short film exploring escapism, marginalized youth and retribution set in the world of a young skater. Shot largely in a skate park, planning to shoot over 4 half-days. Minimal Dialogue Remuneration: DVD and expenses RYAN - Ryan is Lenny's closest friend. Both are hooligans. Ryan has more bravado and can be confrontational at times. Some ability to skate is desirable but not essential. Males, aged 15 to 24 LENNY - Lenny is a youth, out of place in society. He is very anxious and something ways heavily on his mind. He skates to escape. However, between moments of skating the anxiety returns. Actor must be adept at basic skateboarding. (i.e. be able to drop-in, go up and down verts) Males, aged 16 to 24 STORE OWNER - Owns and runs a newsagent. Doesn't like Lenny and Ryan and is suspicious of them from the start.
