Pay what you can night this Wednesday - Subiaco Arts Centre
Fri, 3 June 2011, 05:10 pmWednesday the 8th of June is 'Pay What You Can' night at the Subiaco Arts Centre for the Western Australian Youth Theatre Company's 'Clark in Sarajevo' by Catherine Zimdahl.
Directed by Jenny Davis for the 21 anniversary season and supported by a fully professional production crew including an extraordinary soundscore by Jaymes Brown of the Voltaire Twins and video editing and projection by Simon Stokes of Media at Work, 16 of Perth's most talented young performers chosen from open audition present a black comedy about a naive young war correspondent Clark Cant and his journey into the depths of the Siege of Sarajevo.
LAst minute student rush tickets at the box office are $10 on any night, but in a spirit of complete accessibility to even the most hard up, you can pick up a ticket for any amount of cash you can spare. All you have to do is manage to make it to Subiaco and get home. On a Wednesday night.
The show starts at 7:30pm but I advise you not to leave it until the last minute to grab these tickets as they will be flying out of my hands on the night.
See you there!
