Farewell Party for Brenda Stanley Cancelled
Thu, 28 Apr 2011, 04:00 pmHi,
Brenda has just this afternoon found out she does not have to move to Queensland. At least not for another 12 – 18 months.
So the party is cancelled.
Hope you hadn’t gone to too much trouble to sort out a costume.
Stay home and enjoy a glass of wine and the royal wedding instead!
Or go to the ITA sundowner at Old Mill.
Cheers,
Vanessa

Staying in Perth
Thankfully family circumstances have changed and I was given the opportunity of remaining here in Perth. So I can still be part of community theatre and keep in contact with the many friends I have made in the years. I am now happily unpacking....... Sorry about the party..... I'll just slip away quietly next time??? if there is one.
Thanks Paul for your comment. Brenda Stanley

Don't You Dare .........
Don't you dare to "just slip away quietly next time", young lady. I have just titivated a hat for the occasion and would love to wear it.
Apart from wanting to wish you farewell (though I would be more than happy if you stayed!) it is a rare oportunity for a theatre together and at the very least, a very rare opportunity to say how much we (the community theatre scene) have enjoyed your very valuable contribution.
So, please - don't "just slip away" - you are just too valuable.
Cheers
