Tue, 8 Mar 2011, 11:28 amEver since I started acting professionally I have wanted to be signed by Catherine Poulton so badly.
I am going to send her my CV, headshots and show reel but was hoping to get in touch with some people who are either currently signed by her or people who have been accepted to the next phase of the whole process.
I heard something about a group audition is this right?
Could someone give me some insight about what happens in the process, tips to what she is looking for, things I could do in particular to help increase my chances?
I'm very proactive in getting myself work already, am studying acting at TAFTA, and have had previous paid speaking roles.
Anything from someone with a bit more experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys!

Fri, 11 Mar 2011, 07:34 amIt is the opinion of nearly every agent I have ever talked to that sending in your CV and headshot will do little for you, In America they just flat out ignore them and I should imagine it is roughly the same here. May I suggest you just call this agent up and ask her if she is looking for talent, that way she may ask you to come in and audition, that's what happened to me.
