Manly Musical Society seeks technical staff for upcoming production (Sydney)

Hi all I'm the Technical Director at Manly Musical Society, located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, NSW. We are currently doing a run of How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, performing for two weeks in May 2011. We've started rehearsals and have a talented group of singers, actors and dancers, as well as a seasoned production team. This is our fourth show, having successfully completed The Pirates of Penzance, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Cabaret. We have a few gaps in our technical staff and I'm keen to hear from keen, experienced people that would be interested in the following roles: - Lighting designer (working with the Director, the LD would be expected to design the 'look' for our scenes and delegate rigging, programming and operation to other members of our team - although anyone interested in these other aspects should speak to me too) - Stage manager (we have experienced stage crew and a talented ASM but need someone to manage the stage aspect of the production) - Sound operator (we have a senior sound op, this role would suit someone that has limited experience and is keen to learn - we expect to be running around 40 channels of audio across two mixers (1x digital, 1x analog) covering radio microphones, stage microphones, AV and the orchestra) There are also many opportunities for people to be involved in stage crew, costume design and set construction..
