THE LARAMIE PROJECT By Moises Kaufman Curtin’s Performance studies launch its 2011 theatre season with “The Laramie Project”. Written by Moises Kaufman, “The Laramie Project” is a powerful drama that documents a community’s reaction to a hate crime, the brutal bashing death of a young gay man, which occurs on the outskirts of their town.

Perth director, Michael McCall and Curtin’s Hayman Theatre Company will uplift audiences with the humanism that the play offers up, despite the tragic tale of Matthew Shepard.

Time/Dates: 8pm February 24-26, March 1 -5, 2011

Venue: Hayman Theatre Upstairs, Curtin University, Kent Street Bentley

Tickets: $18 standard & $15 concession

Bookings: Tel 9266 2383 Email L.Brennan@curtin.edu.au
